“What is special about the "special edition"? People have been saying you get less. Why is it called special then?”

It's $100 cheaper. Pay the extra $100 to get $10 foam tips and YOU'RE the special one.

The earbuds and sound quality are the same as the others, they are a special color and don't come with the comfort tips as the others do. Other than that they're the same. I recommend saving the money and going with the special edition.
