“I live in an apartment with neighbors around me. When im gone they are able to connect to the Bluetooth. Even when the speaker is off(standby) they are able to connect and it turns on. Is there a way to fully turn off so no one is able to connect to BT?”

They cannot connect unless you push the Bluetooth button on the remote. The manual outlines this process.

Pressing on the power button on your JBL Bar 3.1 would turn the unit off. We'd also suggest to not put your soundbar on Bluetooth input so the Bluetooth would not be enabled. If you have further questions, please reach out to us through this link: http://bit.ly/2lIab0A.
