“Whats the 3.5 mm jack for on the back of the sub? It says fw upgrade please help?”

• The 3.5 mm jack is for audio input. I used until I purchased and switched over to optical cable

• Our JBL Bar 3.1 has a 3.5 mm aux port on both the soundbar and subwoofer. The AUX-in for the soundbar is for connecting your devices, like phones, tablets, and laptops, using the auxiliary cable.
