“Cant connect it to amazon echo. Echo connects to everything but this speaker. Unsure if the speaker is just incompatible or not with echo. I held the bluetooth button down for 5 secs told echo to search for new device and nothing happens.”

Mine connects, but I need to actually choose it in the Alexa setup, everything else I have has no such need.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm surprised it didn't connect. I didn't have a problem connection to my Amazon echo. My echo is 15 feet from the JBL and when I searched for a Bluetooth connection the JBL came right up. I just did this two weeks ago. Perhaps move your echo around or closer. Mine are in direct line of sight with each other. Perhaps that will help.
