• Yes. The remote has many selections and conttols.

• Hi there, the volume control on the subwoofer of our JBL Bar 3.1 is only located on the remote control's right side. Look for "BASS" and you'll see a '+' and '-' button between it, that should be the subwoofer's volume control.
