Q: QuestionWhat is the impedance/ohms rating for this JPL POWER SUBWOOFER? Your ad lacks sufficient spec details.
Asked by Crowman.
- A:Answer The ARENA S10 10 is a self contained unit, the receiver that it gets connected to doesn't see any impedance rating as it connects with a line level. The speaker is 4 ohms, and the amp is running at 4 ohms.

Q: Questioncan i use a aux cable instead of rca to 3.5 mm
Asked by zvah.
- A:Answer NO, it has to be a subwoofer cable, RCA to RCA connector. This connection should be getting its feed from an audio receiver with dedicated subwoofer output.

Q: QuestionI just bought a Yamaha RX-V479 Receiver. Think its putting out 85w per speaker. I've have Bose speakers 301-V, and want to consider adding the JBL Arena S10 . Would this sub woofer be a suitable match ?
Asked by Christopher.
- A:Answer After looking at the back of the v479 I see that it has an rca sub output, you just need the sub cable to hook it up, the jbl s10 does not come with the rca cable to connect it to the receiver...

Q: QuestionIs this subwoofer compatible with the Sony 1015W 72Ch 4K Ultra HD and 3D PassThrough AV Home Theater Receiver Black Model: STRDH770 SKU: 4914601
Asked by AG.
- A:Answer No, the ARENA S10 has an RMS wattage rating of 100 watts. The general rule when selecting a sub is to make sure it has at least twice the per channel wattage rating of the receiver. Your receiver can put out up to 145watt per channel , please consider getting the SUB 250P instead as it has a power rating of 300Watts. This will be a good compliment to your existing system.

Q: QuestionIs this subwoofer compatible with denon amp
Asked by Lefty.
- A:Answer Thanks for your inquiry and your interest in our product. Yes, the ARENA S10 is compatible with most amplifiers. Please note that the ARENA S10 can safely handle up to 100W RMS of power so matching an amplifier that can drive the same amount of power or a little less would be preferred.

Q: QuestionIs it compatible with my old Kenwood Audio Video Stereo Receiver KR-V8070?
Asked by Firebird.
- A:Answer The general rule when selecting a sub is to make sure it has at least twice the per channel wattage rating of the receiver. So as long as your receiver can put out up to 50 watts of RMS power per channel, this will be a perfect choice. That being said, if you're looking for a home theater system to match your receiver, here are the general rules to picking out speakers for your system. 1. Make sure the receiver can handle the impedance/ohms of the speakers. Typical impedance and 8 ohms is almost never a problem. 2. Make sure that the speakers you choose can handle the power rating of your receiver. If you have a 50 watt per channel receiver, be sure the speakers you choose have a wattage rating of 50 watts or higher. 3. Stick with the same series of speaker, so that all of the speakers have the same sonic tonal quality, giving you a seamless transition when sound travels from one speaker to another. For example, if you select the STUDIO 580 floor standing speakers for your front speakers, be sure to select the STUDIO series center and bookshelf speakers for your rears.
