• You can keep the satellite speaker separate from the sound bar permanently. You’ll just need to run a power cable to them. I think it’s USB-C.

• The detachable speakers run on batteries. It’s good to attach them to the sound bar when they are not in use so they can charge. Not sure if one can use usb to charge them separately, but my practice is to charge them from the sound bar to avoid unnecessary issues. Of course, everyone have their preference.
