• Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Bar 500 also supports optical connection. However, the connection must be made via HDMI to set up your Roku remote. Please check if your TV supports HDMI-CEC, and refer to the Owner’s Manual, page 15, "7.2.1 TV Remote Control Setup."
