Thank you for reaching out. To isolate the issue with your JBL Bar 500, please check the audio settings of your TV and set it to PCM or Dolby. Please ensure the HDMI cable is plugged in properly. We also recommend trying other HDMI cable to know if it is an issue with the cable. Lastly, try to do a power cycle by unpluging the TV and soundbar for at least one minute, and plug them again. If the issue remains, please contact us.
