This happened to me, too. Essentially, the JBL doesn't recognize a signal and enters standby mode. To fix, make sure the HDMI is from the TV eARC to soundbar eARC. If already there, try unplugging and replugging the HDMI. If this doesnt resolve the problem, unplug the HDMI and then unplug power to JBL. After 30 sec, power the JBL, and then plug in the HDMI.
