Yes definitely not a flat sound plenty of bass and yes if you download the app you can control the EQ. They are very tight they fatigue my ear after a few hours of use I wish I would’ve gotten the headphones that go over your ear and not press on your ear like these do. Yet very solid build good battery life and you can plug them in as well direct sound from the 3.5 jack.
