“When Will Firmware Version 5.4 Update Be Available??? My Elite 700's came with firmware version 4, the JBL website mentions the current version as being 5.4, and that if you have version 4, you need to tether your Elites with a micro-USB cable for the initial update, after that future updates occur wirelessly via the iOS app. There's no link for the download though. When will this update be released to those that received firmware version 4?”

Please try again later.For headphones with Version 4.0 of the Firmware, the first update will be done via USB cable, and after the first update, all subsequent updates will be delivered over the air. OS X version will render the headset unable to power up (version 1.1 - can be rectified with the windows version as indicated above) download from http://www.jbl.com/content?ContentID=everest-support
