Yes, I use it by the pool and have no problem hearing it. Both ends have what appears to be a bass speaker on it. The sound seems to projects from three sides of the device.

Yes! I've used it at the beach, the sound carries pretty far.

Yes. The sound is booming so it's good for an outdoor party and there are no cords to fuse with. If it's a big outside event with lots of people I can't say that it will take the place of a dj or surround sound however ;).

Of course-it's powerful and moisture proof and Bluetooth enabled, long life batteries can be easily recharged by your computer after 4-5 hours.

The Altec Lansing Mini Life Jacket 2 is a better option, same price and its completely waterproof etc and LOUD. It comes with the aux cord, charging block, usb charger, AND a mount
