A:AnswerIn my opinion Flip 4 is better. There's not much difference. The only thing I've noticed is that the Flip 5 has a slightly deeper bass. Flip 4 has Aux port, bluetooth, and uses the old style android charging cable that's included with speaker. On the Flip 5 they deleted the Aux port, the charging cable is the new usb- C that new androids use.
A:AnswerIt is hard to say, however I have used my speakers at the beach multiple times in 85+ degree weather sitting in the sun. It did not damage the speaker whatsoever. I even left one out in the rain at night. These things are super durable. I would expect it would be fine.
