• No you can't charge your phone with this one. If I'm not mistaken the JBL Charge is the speaker which charges your phone at the same time.

• Yes and no are you asking if the speaker it self can charge the answer is no and it would drain the speaker of its power. You can use the cable that comes with it to charge non ipod cells.

• The PULSE 2 is not capable of charging mobile devices unlike the CHARGE series speakers.
