“Is the Noise Cancellation in this model comparable to that of the JBL Live 650BTNC? Why is the battery life so much worse, even with a larger battery - are the RGB lights and/or extra radios always on? Can the firmware be updated?”

The noise cancellation is pretty good on these! LEDs can be toggled on and off via button on headset or PC program. I cant speak for the other model but my furnace is near my PC and is pretty loud and these will almost entirely silence the sound of it running. I've also flew a few times and brought them along and they work well canceling the jet noise. Battery life was disappointing especially with LEDs on (I never use them because of that) I probably only get 10 hours maybe more with LEDs OFF but other people I know do get much better battery life. I may have gotten a bad battery or charged it improperly to be fair.
