• That’s actually thru your phone. But I prefer to talk using these ear buds. Back ground noise is cut out and the microphone picks up your voice without any issues.

• You cannot call someone from the headphones themselves. If your headphones are connected to your phone, you have to press the home button to activate SIRI and then you can speak through the headphones and ask Siri or Google to "Call Mom"......You must manually press the home button on your mobile device.
