It doesn't not come off. The ear loop is attached and can't be removed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is not meant to come off. It is a plastic sleeve that encases the headphone wire. If you wanted it permanently off, I guess you could cut it off, but then you would have wires to still put behind your ears.
