QuestionHow do I connect my IPOD to JBL Extreme speaker?

- Answer Turn ON the speaker and then Go to your settings in the iPod, choose Bluetooth. You should see JBL Xtreme option in the list, click on it and wait until it says "connected". Make sure that Bluetooth option is turned ON in the iPod settings.

QuestionWill these work in a bike's water bottle holder. Someone's comments said if anything is touching the outside while at full blast would ruin the subwoofer.

- Answer I don't think it will fit in your water bottle holder. This speaker is the size of a full loaf of bread. Also, touching or pushing on the sides of the speaker (the subs) will damage them.

- Answer it does have a aux in maybe if your tv have a aux out this might work or better yet if your tv is Bluetooth same procces as pairing your phone works

QuestionApprox how far can 2 speakers be apart when connecting them together wirelessly. after about 8-10 feet the signal is breaking on mine ..

Questionis this a better investment than the ecoxgear ecocarbon? i bought it for $60 at costco, but need to know if the jbl extreme is better even though its not "waterproof"

- Answer I was able to get about 15 feet with a brick wall and windows in between. Any wireless device will have different ranges depending on what's around. Trees, water and people are wireless' worst enemy.

- Answer I Bought 2 for my boat this weekend. I could clearly hear the music at 3500 RPM's with a inboard/outboard 6 cylinder. Don't expect it to shake your bones, but a great option for a speaker you can use I and out of the boat

QuestionMy BRAVEN was very expensive (almost $400) and it distorts when pushed to 3/4 and beyond. This occurs with punch, rolling bass, and basically all good songs the Kitten are down with. Does this unit have treble bass? Which would you recommend? Thanks.

- Answer Connecting this speaker with a number of devices (phone, tablet, desktop) through Bluetooth, I've been able to bring the volume to the max without distortion. Everything sounds clear enough that I've removed my bigger stereo from my room and only use this.
