• I was able to get about 15 feet with a brick wall and windows in between. Any wireless device will have different ranges depending on what's around. Trees, water and people are wireless' worst enemy.

• All Bluetooth has maximum range of 9 meters or 30 ft. Typically is 4.5 meters or 15 ft for good sound quality , based on where speaker is located.

• Outside you will have at least 25 feet from your smart device. I've experienced much more, just being conservitive with my answer.
