You can disable/enable the Bass boost by holding down the Blutooth & Vol- buttons for 10s. Also works for Line-in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To reduce OR increase bass Hold Vol -- & BT buttons. Hold these together till blink (around 10 sec)/ To change back do same again. Holding Vol+& BT button you do not influence bass - you reset the device. The bass settings will change of course to default so you might think it's a bass control - it's not.

I did this to "increase bass" and I haven't been able to connect my speaker to my phone. I've tried every method, none of them work. The bass on the speaker is fine enough. Don't try to mess with it or it'll end up not working at all.
