No. It is only a high quality speaker and power source for charging a USB connected device. You must supply a sound wave needing to be amplified. You're two units are strictly storage units which needs something to first convert data to a sound wave. Download you're tunes into a classy I pod and be you're own DJ! Get the new I Pid classic and go bluetooth, plus have the ability to charge it:)
