• A:Answer This is a gas cooktop. No indicator lights like in some induction smooth cooktops. This is also not like the original Jenn-Air modular setup. I have a griddle and use it often but place it on top of the rack over two burners and works perfectly. This is probably my favorite down draft cooktop and I have had 3 different models and manufacturers in the past. If you like cooking with gas and easy to clean... this would be a great choice

• A:Answer The cooktop only comes with the motor assembly that has a 6 inch round tube that connects to the duct work. You have to buy and install the metal ductwork that connects to the motor and then exhausts outside your house. That does not come included.
