Yes, it has downdraft ventilation between the two sets of burners, but it does not work. There are several problems with its design: 1) It is very difficult to install, especially if it is replacing another range that has integrated venting such as Thermador. The large oven leaves very little room for the blower that is only 350 CF3/Min. 2) Not only does the downdraft not draw the fumes and odors well, but it also distorts the flame from the burner. See the two uploaded photos (a video would be better). Notice how the burner flame is distorted to the right, drawn in by the downdraft vent. If you look carefully at the photo of frying onions, you will see that the ones to right are frying, but the ones to the left are not bubbling. The downdraft does not work well, and it defunctionalizes the cooktop. A lose-lose tradeoff.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it has Downdraft
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but you probably will have to have a handy man cut a vent through the back wall to "plumb" the venting. Works great if you invest in doing it right
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had the same question but it is a downdraft. Careful on the geek squad installation....was a horrible experience as it came in day before thanksgiving and team could not install gas range. Had to pay soemone else to do it. Also blower will need to be mounted to floor under stove can be tricky to vent if not going straight back to wall. had to get flexihose and multiple connectors to modify. The positive is, thus far, it a a great stove that cooks exceptionally well and looks beautiful.
