• Please note, the "Duct free" filter is a product sold separately. It does not refer to the range itself, but sounds as if it can be used instead of ducting. That is the purpose of my question, thanks

• The Jennair that I purchased is not duct free. It is a down draft and I installed ducking under the floor.
