- Answer Yes, if it is a Jenn Air model JES1750FS. This and the Kitchenaid KSEG950ESS are the only down draft ranges made.

QuestionI have an old Jenn air downdraft model JES9860aab can the new ones JES1750 fs be hooked up to the old venting system?

- Answer I replaced an old Jennair down draft with a new model. I was able to re- use the air ducting that I had installed under the floor for the first down draft. The good news is that the new fan is stronger.

- Answer Please note, the "Duct free" filter is a product sold separately. It does not refer to the range itself, but sounds as if it can be used instead of ducting. That is the purpose of my question, thanks

- Answer I use metal pots and pans on the glass cooktop. I no longer use any glass cookware on my cooktop but glass still works well in the oven.

- Answer I really don't know because I have not received my oven yet. I had a delivery date of Feb 24th. I had to call on the 24th to find out my delivery date had been moved to April 15th without contacting me.
