• Supposedly I’m you can use just one or both, I can’t say either way because they will never pair with my phones

• Both of the earbuds have microphones for listening to music or talking, however, you use only the right for answering calls.

• You can use the right independently from the left while on a phone call. Because these don't have dual connect technology you must use the right bud if you decide to only use one as this is the bud with the microphone. -JLab Audio
