The foam earpieces are about 2 inches long and wide when I measured them (they are totally circular). When I wear them, they cover 90% of my ears.

These are not like Beats headphones or any headphones that fully cover the ear. However, what they are is lightweight. They don't cause headaches or earaches that full over-ear headphones cause. They also don't cause inner ear irritation that the in-ear headphones can cause. However, because of the design, they do not cut out ambient noise.
