• Absolutely, this kit come with a very nice phone adapter and a shoe to mount a mic or light right on the adapter

• I would go with the 1k. The 3K would be over kill. To big.

• You can if you have an iPhone tripod mount - it uses the standard tripiod screw, but the included mount is for DSLRs only.
