QuestionPlease explain the 12 cup carafe specification. To the best of my knowledge these are 1 or 2 cup per brew machines.

- Answer The 12 cup carafe refers to the amount of water the machine can hold for brewing. the 12 cup is a bit deceiving from a US perspective since it assumes a cup size of ~5 oz. You are correct that this machine can only brew 1-2 cups at a time depending on the selection made.

QuestionAre Jura machines sold in the US 120 V only, or do they recognize the current / is there a switch? Need to know before buying would it work also in e.g. Europe (230 V).
