QuestionHow do I get Spotify to not start playing automatically while I am on a call? My Spotify will connect shortly after I start my car, even if it was paused on my iPhone. That’s good, however it does this even during a call.

QuestionI can't find how to turn the volume down when listening to the Phone and GPS, it won't turn down using my phones media volume control, it doesn't show an option to turn it up or down by the stereo or via the ( + or - ) buttons. The volume is way too loud.

You can adjust the guidance volume in the menu. Simply power up the unit, select SETUP, AV, GUIDANCE VOLUME, and adjust accordingly. QuestionI have 2004 Lexus RX330 with factory pioneer radio and replaced with KWV830BT and used axxess wiring kit. The unit turns on but no sound at all. I reset everything back to factory settings and nothing. No amp.

- Answer The Lexus brand of the Toyota family typically has upgraded or amplified audio systems as standard equipment...not all are 'marque" units ( ie: mark levinson). If the original radio made sound prior to removal and the new unit doesn't...you have an amp. Make sure that you have connected the power antenna lines in the adaptor harness. They are typically blue and blue/white in color. These will be connected to the JVC radios signal control wire ( blue/white in many cases). Hope this helps.

QuestionI purchased the JVC KW-V830BT less than a year ago for use with my iPhone 6. I’ve since upgraded to an iPhone 7 and now it won’t stay connected to CarPlay. I finally discovered that this unit only supports up to the iPhone 6. Is there a software upgrade?

- Answer Two days ago I updated the firmware. This did fix some issues but not all of them. You might want to try it out if you havent done so already: http://www.jvc.net/cs/car/firmware/2017/kwv830bt/

- Answer bro i was hhaving the same issue with an android, go to your phone settings and choose on android it is "connect to PC" and use choice for Media Device, i think that should work any way good luck
