A:AnswerThe Lexus brand of the Toyota family typically has upgraded or amplified audio systems as standard equipment...not all are 'marque" units ( ie: mark levinson). If the original radio made sound prior to removal and the new unit doesn't...you have an amp. Make sure that you have connected the power antenna lines in the adaptor harness. They are typically blue and blue/white in color. These will be connected to the JVC radios signal control wire ( blue/white in many cases). Hope this helps.
A:AnswerThis system is almost 7 inches so if your opening is 7 inches or larger it will fit because they can encase it to make it fit. But if it is smaller than 7 inches it will not fit.
A:AnswerThe Geek Squat installs and replaces radios in cars. When you buy the radio Best Buy will schedule the Geek squad installation. In my case the the install was free because the radio cost was greater than $99.99 The installer should be able to address your questions. My installer was very professional.
A:AnswerIt fit into my Monte Carlo... the only thing I will say is it’s only been a few weeks and the radio keeps shutting down to a black screen. They are replacing the radio today. I’d get the warranty. As far as installation goes, I was going to get a smaller radio until I found out the touch screens had free installation but the small ones I would have had to pay for installation... so this radio was a better deal. The free installation was not advertised in the store and the technician didn’t know about it until he scanned the item into the computer.
A:AnswerTwo days ago I updated the firmware. This did fix some issues but not all of them. You might want to try it out if you havent done so already:
