“How to setup Apple Carplay with my KW-V850BT unit? I’ve tried for over an hour and I cannot connect via Bluetooth the Apple CarPlay. The BT music works fine but I do not have the carplay button on my head unit”

You must use a cable for CarPlay to work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To get Apple CarPlay to work with this unit, you have to connect your phone to the external USB connection via wire that comes with the unit. Bluetooth works wirelessly, but CarPlay needs that USB extension wire that connects to the USB port in the back of this unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You must use cable for Apple play to work. Unit is very specific in manual to use correct cable. Wrong cable could be your problem. Manual says use original manufacter cable. You also have to plug into USB from radio wiring harness..not any USB from car wiring harness. Needs to go directly to radio connection.
