Does this unit have a default security code null

There is a security code for the unit, you set the pin for it in the setup process. See 850BT manual page 9. There isn't a default code, you set it. There's also directions on how to reset it. This has to do with connection to the battery, presumably it locks the system if stolen out of the car. (You may have to reset it if you get a new battery) There is also a "pin" code mentioned in the Bluetooth connection, 850BT manual, page 0000.
