• I was able to connect to my steering wheel but had to buy a specific wireless harness to connect it. Was kind of an expensive wire harness but Iike my steering wheel controls.

• Yes, the KW-X840BTS supports steering wheel controls. A steering wheel adapter is needed and can be purchased separately.
