• It sounds like your head phone is broken if u only can hear from one side

• If only one side is working then yes it sounds like it's broken you may have to send it back to the company if it's not over a year old

• Either there is a problem or maybe you don't have the plug fully inserted into your phone. If you have a case on your phone the plug may not be able to be fully inserted. Try removing the case or try these with someone else's phone. It could be your phone jack also.
