• No, no adapter came with these ear buds. It came with the standard different size rubber pieces you put in your ear, but no adapter for airplanes.

• Yes - these earbud headphones can be used while traveling via airplane - I always use them (as recently as last week!). On a Jetblue plane (plug in on front section of the armrest) and on a Delta plane (plug into the small TV screen on the back of the seat in front of you).
