• No, you can't use a 13x9 inch pan in the Kalorik MAXX. I would say, YES, it's a convection oven, because when using the air fryer feature, it circulates the air just like a convection oven. I am loving it, and I haven't turned on my oven/toaster since I got it. :)

• A 13x9 inch pan wouldn't fit in the Kalorik MAXX. The maxx air fryer also works as a convection oven. Regards, Kalorik Customer Support
