French Polynesia (which includes Tahiti) has a mix of voltages and plugs. Voltage can be either 110 or 220V so you need to ask your host if your equipment handles only one or the other voltage (or you may want to take a voltage converter as well as adapter plugs). Plugs may be US 2 flat blade, US grounded with 2 flat blades plus a round ground prong, continental Europe 2 round prong (most common when we were there), or continental Europe 2 round prong plus a hole that fits a prong extending out from the wall socket (I'm pretty sure the prong is for the ground). The 4 in one adapter set can definitely handle 3 of the 4 types as long as the socket is not US type, small and recessed, in which case the US adapter may not work. The 2 prong Euro adapter may just clear the prong that extends out from wall socket on the 4th type, but I haven't tested it. Given the plethora of socket types in Polynesia, there is a good chance that upper class hotels will be able to loan you an adapter.
