Q: QuestionWill this adapter work in Dubai
Asked by Sam.
- A:Answer There is an adapter converter for the UK included. The voltage is not exact, but the difference is usually tolerable by electrical devices. Its mostly safe to plug your electrical apparatus from United Kingdom in United Arab Emirates without a voltage adapter.

Q: QuestionIs this adapter good for my cell phone in uk
Asked by Grandkids3.
- A:Answer It will plug into a U.K. wall outlet and let you plug your present USB adapter into it. Your USB adapter should have a faint marking showing it will handle 120/240 volt and 50/60 hertz. It would also handle hair dryer etc that is marked 120/240 or which has a switch option for 240.

Q: QuestionWill this work in Tahiti?
Asked by Tam.
- A:Answer French Polynesia (which includes Tahiti) has a mix of voltages and plugs. Voltage can be either 110 or 220V so you need to ask your host if your equipment handles only one or the other voltage (or you may want to take a voltage converter as well as adapter plugs). Plugs may be US 2 flat blade, US grounded with 2 flat blades plus a round ground prong, continental Europe 2 round prong (most common when we were there), or continental Europe 2 round prong plus a hole that fits a prong extending out from the wall socket (I'm pretty sure the prong is for the ground). The 4 in one adapter set can definitely handle 3 of the 4 types as long as the socket is not US type, small and recessed, in which case the US adapter may not work. The 2 prong Euro adapter may just clear the prong that extends out from wall socket on the 4th type, but I haven't tested it. Given the plethora of socket types in Polynesia, there is a good chance that upper class hotels will be able to loan you an adapter.

Q: QuestionWould this allow a denmark cord to be plugged into an american outlet?
Asked by Logan.
- A:Answer A standard European 2 round prong cord will fit the US, Australian and UK adapters, and there are a couple of round slots on the adapters in a T configuration so a grounded Euro cord may fit (I don't have one to test). US (2 blade, polarized 2 blade, and grounded 3 prong) , Australian 2 blade, and Euro 2 prong (possibly grounded 3 prong) cords will fit the UK adapter. Only US cords with two equal flat blades (non polarized cord) or a grounded US cord (2 equal flat blades plus a round prong) will fit in the much smaller Euro adapter, but since the Euro adapter is not grounded, the combination will not be grounded either. One could stack the Euro adapter plus the US adapter to allow UK and Australian cords to work.
