• It PROBABLY can handle a little more than the advertised weight. I have a 28" monitor in the mid-range of weight and I had to dial the tension way down. The "weakest" point of the setup will be the ball joint at the back of the mounting plate. If it's going to fail from weight, that's where it will happen.
