I have a 49" TV that measures 42 7/8" (109cm) in width. If I pull the mount perpendicular to the wall and slide the TV to the furthest position on the mount I have about 6" (15cm) clearance from the wall. I would estimate that a TV that is 53" or less in width should fit with some room for adjustments.

Its range of motion is fabulous and it suits all the requirements that I had for a television wall mount.
