• Not plastic, more like a slip over protective casing with a firm rubberish feeling, but it’s not rubber. It’s a good snug fit too. Won’t cheaply come off or anything.

• To me it seems to just be hard plastic & almost impossible to remove once it’s on. The top part is not hard to remove it’s the bottom part.
