I have the 13 Pro Max and while everything does fit, the plastic is too thin to protect the phone.

Yes they fit. Read specifications. The more pronounced bubble yiur referring to is the increased size of lenses. Allowing for more quality and distance. Those things could stick out 2 in and you’d still be able to use that case
