• A:Answer Yes, I ran optical cable from TV into Wiim Ultra and then out to separate channel amps (1 for each speaker) and then on to speaker...works fine...as good as or better than average sound bar. The Wiim also has bluetooth option but wired avoids any synch issues IMHO. Nice sound stage and voice comes from the "right place". I have only used for normal viewing, i.e. no Superhero/Action flicks but sound is clean so far. Can always add a sub if you need to rattle your teeth.
