A:Answer Since Best Buy wasn't going to answer my question, I guess I'll do it myself. I bought this lock and YES it works perfectly. (Brief summary: laptops started making the cable lock holes smaller than the standard, that had been working great - - this wedge lock works on the new, smaller lock holes.)
