• A:Answer The interface ports (on the right side) are in slightly different positions, so the surface 7 will not connect to the surface 3 docking station. I have a new surface 7 and a retiring surface 3 and docking station so I tried to place the surface 7 in the surface 3 docking station and was alas unsuccessful..

• A:Answer It will not as the Surface Pro X is a bit larger than the regular Surface Pro lineup. As the fit on this docking station is extremely precise, any larger device such as the Surface Pro X will not fit.
