“Every time I set the year and date in the system and then the clock somehow the clock changes to a different time, and even switches from PM to AM for example. is it a known glitch?”

go to settings, and find adjust clock. read down to deactivate RDS CT (radio setup on page 20). turn this feature off. This should keep your clock accurate
