“When I use the car play it shuts off my phone about 10 minutes after being connected. I bought a new phone and all and it’s still doing it!! Can someone please help ??”

Mine is doing the same thing with my Samsung phone but not with my son's iPhone. I've been told by a Best Buy installer, that a 3ft charger is needed. It sounds bogus to me so I haven't tried that yet.
