“I am trying to use the Android Auto feature. It says my parking break has to be engaged to use it. Will I still be able to use the map from my phone driving? Why must the parking break be applied. Also, mine does not work with the parking break pushed.”

It sounds like you didn’t connect the light green park brake wire.

Once this is correctly installed you will be able to use your GPS maps off your phone. Please consult with a professional installer on getting this connected.
